THE PROTÉGÉS – D13
Running through the hot sands of the beach, driving all around Kuwait’s roads from Jahra to Kuwait City, this day is one of the most tiring, stressful, and exciting days of the program. Thank you Dhari Al-Moawed for arranging the wonderful game of K-lue, a national treasure hunt that kept us thinking, running, and some of us even swimming.
We split into teams of five or six, each team in a car, competing to get to the final stage of the game. After about three hours and a half, the winning team met Dhari at Kuwait towers after a lot of confusing clues. They were congratulated with medals and a picture – yes, it was all about the winning and not the prize. The winning team: Mentors Abdulaziz Al-Adwani and Shamlan Al-Bahar with Pink Coffee members Maryam Aleisa, Dana Al-Otaibi, and Dhuha Al-Mutawa, and student Altaf Al-Mudhayan.
After the game, the students were treated to a nice lunch at Fondue thanks to the kind owners of the restaurant. Overall, it was a great day where we all had loads of fun.
